Caring Presence is always looking to add to our team of experienced and dedicated Caregivers. Our primary goal is to improve the daily lives of our clients and we are looking for compassionate and dependable Caregivers to provide excellent home care services. In home care is an alternative to nursing home or assisted living care and often clients respond best to it, as it allows them to get help and care in familiar surroundings and comfort of their home.
Beyond basic Caregiver duties, caring for a client is highly dependent on their special needs. No two people are alike, and no two caregiving jobs are alike either. Some clients are suffering from memory disorders while others are sharp as a tack yet struggle getting around and doing simple things like opening a jar of jelly. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

We are currently accepting applications for Caregiver and CNA positions available in the following areas: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Village of Oak Creek, Rimrock, Lake Havasu City, Kingman, Bullhead City, Ft Mohave, Paulden, Black Canyon City, and Payson.
Caregiver Duties/Responsibilities
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Qualifications & Requirements
- Pass both background check and drug screening
- Have or acquire CPR/First Aid Certification
- Have or acquire Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- A valid driver's license, proof of car insurance and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
